…here are my 14 ways to enjoy february 14th without a man!

- first of all, you should keep in mind that valentine’s day isn’t only about romance. it’s about love. so send your parents a card, give your grandparents a call, text your brother, and give your niece something fun and sugary! do something nice for those you care about.
- buy yourself flowers – but only if seeing them will make you happy, not depressed.
- gorge yourself with chocolate. duh.
- do what you wanna do for once.
- wear the sexiest lingerie you own. it’s okay to feel hot and a little smug because those boys don’t know what they’re missing..
- make a date with your single bff.
- if you’re feeling really ambitious, host a little party for your single friends. have a lingerie exchange with a group of girlfriends, or invite girls and guys and make them bring at least one other single friend.
- one word. champagne.
- give your favorite furry friend some extra hugs and cuddles.
- hit up a local bar and chat with other singles. you might meet the man of your dreams!
- if you’re like me and love pink and hearts and all things that are cute and girly and covered in glitter, bask in the feminine wonderland that is valentine’s day. [if you don’t, stay inside your home…]
- melt some chocolate and dip your own strawberries. sweet and cheap.
- take a relaxing bubble bath at the end of the day, complete with candles and wine.
- if all else fails, be like a guy and pretend the holiday doesn’t exist or just be completely oblivious. [i.e., my brother: “oh, this week is valentine’s day? i was wondering why there were so many places selling chocolate.” true story.]
love to everyone! have a happy v-day tomorrow! xoxoxoxo
