it’s finally MINE. that lovely little condo that i fell in love with the exact moment that i first laid eyes on it, that very condo, is my new home. it is a place that i can now really and truly call my own. and boy, did it take a lot of paperwork [and $$] to get to this point! but i couldn’t be more excited.
i closed on wednesday, just before i got on a plane to minnesota for a family reunion, so i haven’t been able to spend much time there, and i know that all the packing i have to do will probably keep me from doing so right away. i plan on moving towards the end of july – still working out the details – but it’s creeping up fast. before heading to the airport on wednesday after closing, i stopped by my new place just long enough to wander through each room, picturing my furniture in its new home and taking a few pictures with my iphone. the pictures are raw, just like the rooms in my new place, but i wanted to give you a quick glimpse:
