{i finally did something different with my hair! i took these photos after work so it was kind of a mess, but i’m pretty sure that i always specialize in the “messy look.”}
{april showers… i was on a run when i took these and cut it pretty close – it started storming the minute i got inside!}
{i always get to try fun new items from our suppliers at work, thanks to my cube neighbors. here we have candy corn M&M’s and chocolate risotto. the chocolate risotto looks gross but was really tasty, and i [surprisingly] liked the M&M’s too!}
{chili’s southern smokehouse burger with applewood smoked bacon, melted cheddar, fresh leaf lettuce, tomato, spiced panko onion rings, chili’s signature sauce, and those delicious house-made garlic dill pickles that i’ve been tasting like every day at work. it was enormous, but veryyy good. also, a side of broc, since i AM the produce queen. and a to-do list for mike and i when he gets here… i can hardly wait!}
{tried a new restaurant with mom and mimi, and loved it. it’s called parigi, and i had the chef’s risotto of the day. then we all split the “half and half” – half peach cobbler, half chocolate glob [that’s literally what it’s called on the menu]. A.K.A. heaven.}
{ashley and guido recently bought a vespa and one day while i was running i saw them. i got pretty excited.}
{when we were kids and my mom would open a new jar of peanut butter, she would show us what it looked like untouched and our family would ooh and ahh at its pure smoothness, every single time. it was kinda our thing. the first dip into that perfect surface of thick and creamy PB is THE BEST, even still. i know you know what i mean. andddddddd i was so happy to see these little bottles of cuties juice at the grocery store! i had tried them at the PMA retail conference back in october – they’re all-natural juices squeezed from cutie clementines and other fruits, with nothing from concentrate and no sugar added. love their packaging/marketing, and hope to see more of this in the future to promote fresh produce products and increase produce consumption, especially to kids.}
{we celebrated noelle’s birthday at the beginning of april. i regret not getting more photos, but i did get a pic of our favorite sangria from the common table that has skittles in it, and this awesome shot of the birthday girl on my neighbor’s vespa, which might be my favorite picture ever. haha}
{post-birthday brunch at malai kitchen was soooooo good}
{everything is looking so green and pretty these days!}
{my coworker made this adorable easter egg cookie tree for our weekly meeting. and i was running at dusk and loved the way the sky looked beyond this cemetery gate.}
{wine class adventures. when we did spanish wines, we actually got serenaded by the speaker!}
{we spent an afternoon at top golf for a team building event at work… it was so. much. fun. i love my team!}
{…just a convo between my mom and me… and the sad thing is, i wasn’t exaggerating. ha}
{my first velvet taco experience! i went with noelle, and then we went to the old monk afterward, another place i had never been. good times.}
{spending a friday night studying for my wine test… and counting the days until our paris trip! april sure flew by…}
and it’s officially summer now, guys! it feels so good. hope you’re all having a fantastic week!
