i was traveling for the majority of the summer, and most of those adventures will get their own posts whenever i’m able to get around to it! but in between my travels, i was savoring every moment at home, hanging out with ryan every chance i got, aaaaaaand fitting in as much time with family [and my parents’ new pup] as i could. it was a fun couple of months.

{there’s this really cool place right by my office called bread zeppelin. you customize a salad, they chop it up for you, and then it’s stuffed into a freshly baked artisan baguette that’s been cored out. it is SO good.}

{i was so thrilled to finally get to hang out with these two.}

{i took my lovely coworker linda out for a thank-you lunch for all the work she did for me while i was in europe for three weeks [she’s the best]. and after that experience, this is my advice: go to shell shack, order a pound of snow crab plus potatoes. sauce: kitchen sink. heat level: hot. so freaking good – you won’t regret it.}

{when mike signed his lease, i subsequently gained two pools and a workout center, a 5 minute walk away. i wasn’t sad about it. and we were dying laughing at this – somehow the settings on mom’s camera had been changed so that anything skin color would be green!! [HOW does this happen on accident?? i think someone had to be playing a joke on her. we just haven’t figured out who!] anyway, she had taken a picture of mimi and of course mimi was was as green as can be and they couldn’t figure out why and we were all laughing til we were crying… it was hysterical.}
