if you recall from last year, my company goes all out for halloween.  not only is there an individual costume contest, but there’s also a skit contest between departments [with drinks and food at each one] that basically takes up the whole day.  this was my second year to partake in the festivities and it was so much fun.  maybe even better than last year!  we chose a “toddlers and tiaras” around the world theme – i posted the costume tutorial the other day – and the skit we did was hilarious.  our department actually ended up winning the skit contest and so we each get an extra PTO day plus a pizza party for the department as our prize.  a pretty sweet prize, if you ask me!

anyway, here are some photos of the day, and if you make it to the end of the post, there may or may not be a video clip of the skit… one of the “toddler moms” filmed it. ;)  it’s hysterical, i couldn’t resist…

{i was dying laughing at this… i had the best, most supportive “parents” who were holding up signs and posters for me during my pageant [even if the signs said “vote for jessica” instead of “vote for mary jane”] ;) …as you can see, there was one poster that was an actual photo of me when i was little, and then another photo of me that was taken the day of the pageant and WOW that spray tan + the way it’s printed sure makes me look straight african!}

{we had a whole bunch of costume contest participants, but these were some of the best… a taco bell taco, tupac, a crazy cat lady, and elvis.  what a group!}
