I’ve been MAJORLY slacking off in the blogging department this month. Between refereeing intramural soccer, working at How Do You Roll, and going to school, I hardly have any time to do anything! I just got my Halloween decorations up about a week ago (I know, I know, really sad), but that was due to the fact that they were at home in Mansfield, and I wasn’t able to go home at all this semester until two weekends ago. Needless to say, things have been incredibly busy, but I thought I would post some festive things to celebrate the day.
{Windowsill decorations}
{Halloween garlands – the first one says “Happy Haunting” and the second one I made with ribbon and old Halloween greeting cards}
{I got these candy corn clothespins at World Market last year. They were just too cute to pass up!}
{I found this idea here and I think it came out pretty well!}
{Coffee table garland…I know, I’m garland-obsessed!}
{I don’t like real candy corn but these lemon-flavored candy corn cookies were tasty and adorable! Got the recipe here.}
{I had no choice but to throw together a quick costume, so a pirate it was! Here I am with a fellow pirate friend that I met at a Halloween party I went to.}
{I painted my thumb nail to look like the Jolly Roger!}
{On day 2 of dressing up, I made my own bee costume using yellow duck tape to make stripes on a black dress. It turned out pretty well for a 20-minute costume! Pictured with my friend Thomas as a naughty police officer! haha}
I’m going to try to be better about posting in November! I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween!
