onto jamie’s and my fourth christmas celebration this year – this last one was just the two of us! [it actually fell right between christmas with my family and christmas with jamie’s family – i posted it out of order, oops.] we enjoy having our own christmas separate from our families, and even though we had to do it on a weeknight due to our weekends being so busy [hence my messy hair], it was nice to have a relaxing night together amidst the chaos of the holidays. we took a couple photos since i always have to document the moment. :)
{we both coincidentally gave each other one gift this year that was large in size… he gave me patio furniture [YAY!!!] and i gave him a new suitcase. [sidenote: i just realized how old we sound right now… giving each other those types of gifts, haha. we were definitely both super pumped about them!] anyway, he totally showed me up in the wrapping department, especially since his gift to me was WAY bigger. but my trash bag idea took a lot less time!} ;)
i really, really love this man.
after our exchanging of gifts, we watched our show, this is us [we’re way behind… only just now finished season 1, BUT you guys know me, the non-TV-watcher. so this is probably the best i’ve kept up with any show, ever!!] and jamie got into some candy that mike and priscilla gave him, so i snapped a photo:
haha, he’s cute. and i’m so thankful for him. he’s definitely been my rock during tough times and i couldn’t be more appreciative of that. below are a few more photos from our various christmas adventures this year:
{me sweet-talking him into taking some nice photos!} ;)
one of the other christmas gifts that jamie gave me was a float spa from here. have you heard of this? it’s basically a little pool filled with a ton of epsom salts so that you can float effortlessly and just relax in peace and quiet. it’s like taking a bath and a nap, all while floating on the water. i’m so excited to try this – it sounds like heaven! i think we’re going to try to go the weekend after next.
i love you jamie-boy! xoxo
