even though this is really not just the thought of the day – it’s my life mantra and the foundation of this blog – i wanted to emphasize it yet again:

find joy in the ordinary.

it’s all about perception – if you find loveliness and beauty and joy wherever you go, your life will be lovely and beautiful and joyous.  and that’s surely the type of life that i strive to have, don’t you?

plus i know a verse that goes along with that quote:

“you will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.”

– psalm 16:11

as a christian, i feel like i have so much to rejoice in, so much to be excited about, just by believing.  i want to let my joyful heart shine through for all the world to see so that everyone might share in my pleasure of eternity with jesus.  because it really is that awesome.
