for the last holiday outfit, i chose something dressy, festive, and totally fun. because what’s more fun than pink?? to keep the look sophisticated and fashionable and to avoid having it look too five-year-old-princess, i kept everything else black or neutral. i i’m always a fan of an unexpected pop of color – it adds a little flair and will make you stand out at any party. this skirt is BCBG, but i got it at clotheshorse anonymous. i love the material and the sweet little bow at the waist. i couldn’t decide whether to leave my forever 21 lace shirt out to show off the scalloped lace on the bottom or to tuck it in so as not to hide the skirt’s cute bow, so i took photos both ways. the shrug is so soft and so lovely and happens to be from my very favorite store in the world, anthropologie, but i generally can’t bring myself to pay their prices for clothes [EVEN THOUGH i’m convinced they have some of the most beautiful clothes ever]. but i got this little beauty on sale after the holidays a couple years ago and i’m completely smitten. the rhinestone collar is from buffalo exchange and the shoes are the same ones from this post. again, sorry for the overexposure…
i hope you all enjoyed this little holiday outfit series and got inspired for ways to work your own closet for all the upcoming holiday festivities. i wasn’t certain how it would all turn out, but i sure had fun putting it all together… i definitely think i’ll have to do something like this again sometime. happy friday! xoxo
