who else had a long weekend for MLK day?? this girl here was pretty pumped about the holiday. my weekend was so relaxing… it was amazing. i got to see three good friends whom i hadn’t seen in a while and then had a phone date with another one [love them all so much!], tried two new restaurants that i really liked [LSA burger co in denton and stock & barrel in bishop arts], watched a crazy good documentary on netflix called dear zachary: a letter to a son about a father [have you seen it? if you haven’t but want to, DON’T read any summaries or spoilers before viewing!], finally took down my christmas tree [had been procrastinating on that one for weeks], and cleaned out my entire kitchen today [one can never reach a state of true happiness until all her tupperware is contained and stacked in its place. can i get an amen?]. i’m feeling simultaneously accomplished and refreshed – always a great way to start the week. there’s not much else new over here, but my friend becca took this photo yesterday:
this is me in 2016. life is dynamic and i never know what it will be from one day to the next, but this moment of jessica at 25.92 years old is officially documented! and thanks to this blog, lotssssss of moments of my life have been documented, and i really am grateful for that little fact and know that i will continue to be grateful in years to come. the memories are preserved, and they can forever be shared. thanks for reading, guys. xoxoxo
