after posting on our family reunion this summer, i decided it would be fun to post some never-before-seen photos from reunions past!  in 2008, i didn’t have a blog yet, and in 2013, i had brought my nikon to the event, but never got around to editing and posting these pics.  [that totally kills me, but such is life.  at least i’m posting them now…]  it is crazy looking back at them and realizing how much everyone changes in 5 years and how life itself has changed since then too.  at the 2008 reunion, i had just graduated from high school and all the younger cousins look like BABIES!  aunt carol hadn’t met greg yet either.  and at the 2013 reunion, papa had just passed away a few months before, which was hard.  and i had just bought my condo!  i’m pretty sure i also thought at this age that i would NEVER meet the right guy.  and now, 5 years later at this reunion, i had my fiancé in tow and a wedding 3 short months away!  funny how that works.

both of these reunions were in brainerd, minnesota [you saw a few iphone pictures in my last post] and we stayed in these cute brown cabins with turquoise trim in front of a lake with weeping willows speckling its perimeter.  i’ll start with the ’08 pics:
