so my friends angelica and kevin are getting married this weekend!  i can hardly believe that it’s already wedding time and i can’t wait to share this special day with them.  i’ve been meaning to post some photos from angelica’s bridal shower for a while, and here we are, days before the wedding, and i haven’t gotten my act together to edit them and get ’em on the blog.  so most of them aren’t edited but i figured better now than later, right?

angelica’s grandmother and aunt shelley threw the shower for her, which is fun because i work with shelley and know her well.  shelley is actually the one who introduced me to angelica.  she’s very crafty and a fantastic event planner as it turns out.  she and her mom have great style, and the shower could quite possibly be the best one i ever attend.  the ladies went all out with a shabby chic theme [which fits the decor of shelley’s beautiful home very nicely], and they planned and decorated to the tee.  angelica looked soooo beautiful and everyone had a wonderful time.  there were lots of pictures i wanted to share, but i picked a few of my favorites to post here.

{the best part was the last gift – a bouquet for the rehearsal that shelley and her mom had made using different pieces of jewelry and brooches from all the women on angelica’s mom’s and dad’s sides of the family as well as the women in kevin’s family.  this card that angelica is reading listed out the names of all the women who contributed, and she didn’t realize what it was until her grandma came from behind and handed her the bouquet.  she was very surprised and of course teared up, and it was a special moment for everyone.}

angelica and kevin, i’m so pumped to see you tie the knot this weekend!  and to shelley and your sweet mother, thank you for such a wonderful time.  it was the best bridal shower ever!
