last sunday seems like a really, really long time ago, but if you recall, my challenge of the week was to just have fun and enjoy the events/trips that i had planned. i knew they would be fun, but i also knew that it would be an exhausting week after an exhausting several weeks month [or two]. and i was right – this week WAS tiring, but only in the best way possible. we had a blast and i wouldn’t change a thing.
and here’s some proof from this weekend that we were having a great time. ;) i’ll post the rest of the photos from this week later on.

{we couldn’t stop laughing/ruining the picture. love this girl.}
and for this week, i’m going to try to drink more water. it is hot hot hot here right now and it’s so easy to get dehydrated. i know that i need to work on drinking more water throughout the day normally, and at this time of year especially. plus, as silly as it sounds, i got a new water bottle from our PMA conference a couple of weeks ago so i’m feeling all inspired to bring it to work and chug some h2o from that thang. whatever it takes, right?
and if i’m being honest, i’m kind of getting bored of taking selfies each sunday because really, how many photos of me do you guys need to see? [i know you’re thinking, uh, zero?] but don’t forget that posts without pics can also be boring [maybe more boring than weekly selfies], and this was the whole reason i added the selfie piece onto our weekly challenges [among other reasons, which you can read more about here. or you can check out this post, in which i’m on my soapbox, actually defending selfies. which is slightly humorous because i sort of think they’re silly. and i really hate being THAT girl who is taking them on a weekly basis…]. so please keep in mind that these posts are not about the selfies, but about the weekly self-challenges. and because the selfie-taking has felt a bit redundant, i’m trying to get more creative and get some different shots than your typical hold-up-over-your-head shot or bathroom mirror pic. for instance, today’s:
{at the mirror: tired feet from lots of dancing/high heels/walking this weekend}
hope your week is wonderful. xoxo
