a few weeks ago, i got free tickets through my job for a concert at the dallas arboretum. ever since i had visited chihuly garden and glass in seattle several years ago, i’d been a fan of dale chihuly and his kaleidoscopic art glass. i had been wanting to see the chihuly exhibit at the arboretum, so i figured that this was the perfect opportunity for my friend ashley and me to go check it out.
it was on a lovely thursday evening that we found ourselves in a whimsical, fairytale land of colorful glass among breathtaking flora and cinderella pumpkins. the glass was indescribable, and the setting of the exhibit, the arboretum, happens to be a serene 66 acres of gardens on white rock lake. we had a grand time, and if you live in the dallas area, i highly recommend visiting this exhibit, which will be at the arboretum through november 5th.
