i wouldn’t have typically put bronze and gold together, especially since i tend to shy away from wearing warm colors, but these joe’s bronze jeans have really gotten me out of my comfort zone a bit! when i bought them, they had more of a metallic sheen than they do now – a couple of washes have gotten the best of them, but i still love their unique color and the way they look. they pair so nicely with autumn-y colors and also go perfectly with this gold and nude j.crew shirt. the draping cowl neckline of the shirt is flattering on any body type, and of course i’m always a fan of some gold shimmer! add some floating pearls and midi rings and you’re good to go!
i added the vintage mr. eric california cream crocheted lace jacket to cover my shoulders and add another layer of charm.
this little guy certainly goes well with my outfit… even if he does look slightly alarmed by this whole “posing for pictures” thing.
if yesterday’s outfit was a nordstrom rack outfit, today’s is definitely a buffalo exchange outfit! that’s where i got the pants, shirt, and the jacket, all second-hand. the brown booties are from t.j. maxx, the rings are from charming charlie, and the floating pearls are a hand-me-down from my grandmother.
i hope you’re all having a great week so far! holiday outfit number three will be posted sometime in the next few days!
