continuing on with angela’s bachelorette party… we woke up saturday morning and got ready for a day at the pool. the coolest thing about where we stayed, the reserve at lake travis, was that there were a number of pools and a lazy river with a swim-up bar overlooking lake travis just a short walk away from our little cottage. here are photos from the rest of our weekend:
{we awoke to a glorious mimosa bar!}
{…along with avocado toast, bacon, and potatoes. all my favorite things!}
{starting off the morning strong!!}
{angela gifted us the cutest personalized bag, tank top, koozie, and temporary tattoo! and travis added his own gift to our goodie bag – some super fun sunglasses.}
{getting ready for our day at the lazy river! we had to get our tattoos on before we went…}
{a ring floatie – another sweet gift from trav for the party!}
{from our patio}
{ready to take on the pool!}
{selfie time!}
{you can hardly tell in the picture, but in the foreground is a drop-off pool that looks out to the lake [and almost looks like a part of the lake in these photos!]. it was a perfect place for a bachelorette party.}
{pool party! with our gem of a bachelorette, angela!} :)
{HELLO, swim-up bar!}
{such fun with these girls!}
{we love our bachelorette!}
{sorry for the profanity but sometimes it has to come out at the bachelorette parties, no?} ;)
{i love the drink floatie!!}
{getting our tans on!}
{who doesn’t love a good pool bar?!}
{everyone brought snacks to share and we had waaaay more than we needed. we joked that it looked more like a party for a bunch of guys with this pile of junk food. BUT it all came in handy after a few drinks!} ;)
{it was so nice that the house was such a short little walk to the pool… we were able to come back for snack breaks as needed!}
{love ittttt}
{sara and i became buddies on this trip!}
{what i loved about this weekend was that after a day of drinking by the pool [and drinking champagne in the limo and at oasis the night before], we stayed in on saturday night. we had a little lingerie party for angela, played some fun bachelorette games, and took it easy in our comfy clothes. the perfect idea for day 2 of a bachelorette in my humble, almost-28-year-old opinion, haha. i also just had to share this photo of angela and her sister heather having an arm wrestling competition!!!! soo funny. the question of who was stronger somehow came up between them so they decided to settle it once and for all. gotta love the sister rivalry!!} ;)
i can’t get over what a perfect weekend it was! it was wonderful to celebrate her and catch up with all her fun friends. angela’s wedding has come and gone [i need to post on it soon], and i’m so happy for her and trav. they are a great couple. thanks to angela, heather, and to all her wonderful family who helped with the party! xoxo
