after our weekend of adventures at the farm, we had one last hurrah before we had to head home to denver.  mike and priscilla had an early flight out at chicago midway on monday, and jamie and i didn’t fly out until late in the afternoon on monday.  my sweet parents had agreed to drop all of us off, and since jamie had never been to chicago, the four of us decided to make a day of it.  and it really turned out to be the most perfect little day!  we had it all planned out in advance so we could fit in as much as possible:  breakfast sandwiches at hero coffee bar, then the skydeck at the top of willis tower [formerly the sears tower], the bean [i had never seen it before], and a late lunch at the gage before heading to the airport.  it was great to spend time with my parents and go on a little double date. :)
