one year ago yesterday, i met this man in the most least likely place [through friends of friends at a crazy little dive bar on a work trip to denver visiting the company i now work for, amazingly].  little did i know at the time how my life would change in the next year and what JOY this man would bring me over that time.  no, it hasn’t always been easy – a long-distance relationship, an out-of-state move, a job change for each of us and my 10-12 hour work days and 6-day work weeks, plus two 27-year-0lds who have strong beliefs and opinions, will provide their fair share of challenges and tough times.

but despite some ups and downs, we’ve had great adventures together, so many moments that are better than my dreams.  when God put this man in my life, He saw my weaknesses and blessed me with someone who balances me out and challenges me to be better.  He gave me someone who builds me up, makes me feel brave, gives me comfort, and makes me feel more loved than i could ask for.  he is a role model, a companion, my best friend, and the man of my dreams.  i can’t wait for all of our next adventures!  i love you jamie v.
